Laurel Ferguson joined the firm in 2016, and was added to the firm name in 2019. Laurel has owned and operated the firm since 2020. Founder Jane Hanawalt officially retired at the end of 2025, and the firm continues to carry on her legacy of quality, caring legal services. ABOUT LAUREL FERGUSON Laurel Ferguson (née Yecny) was born and raised in Florence, and graduated from Siuslaw High School in 2004. Laurel attended the University of Portland, graduating maxima cum laude in 2008 with degrees in English and German.
