The personal injury claims process starts by opening a claim with the insurance company - usually we do this with all of the insurance companies involved, even our own clients'. The claim stays open while the client is treated for their injuries. At GBG we handle all of the communications with the insurance companies during this time, so the client doesn't have to be bothered with phone calls and low ball offers from insurance companies. Once our clients are done treating or are as good as they are going to get, we send in a Demand to the insurance company. If the insurance company values our clients' claims fairly, we are able to resolve the claim and the claim is settled and closed. If not, then we will file a lawsuit on our clients' behalf, taking the claim into court.
